Good afternoon, y’all! I hope everyone’s Saturday is off to a fantastic start. It’s a gorgeous sunny day here in Savannah and we couldn’t be more excited about it!
Today’s question is fairly simple but nonetheless common amongst our brides: who should be invited to your bridal shower, bridal brunch, bachelorette party and other wedding-related activities?
Answer: Anyone you want, so long as all are also invited to the wedding! It’s only proper that everyone attending pre-wedding events also has the opportunity to attend the main event.
PS – Isn’t the mimosa bar just ah-mazing? YUM.
Have a fabulous weekend!

So your love put a {gorgeous, sparkly} ring on it? Congrats! The least you could do is put it on display in a pretty vessel when you have to {regrettably, albeit inevitably} take it off while handling raw meats/showering/lifting weights/et cetera. Following are just a few of our favorites:

{ 1 } Monogrammed Glass Cloche from Pottery Barn { 2 } Glass Shadow Box from West Elm { 3 } Blushing Mercury Jar from Anthropologie { 4 } Monogrammed Gold Enamel Jewelry Box from Etsy

After spending all that time and effort on picking out the perfect dress, don’t forget about the shoes! We love all things sparkly and gold, and a fancy pair of bridal heels is the perfect way to incorporate that. Following are a few of our favorites. Enjoy!
Good morning, y’all! Today I am honored to share a fantastic venue with you.
The Olde Pink House is truly an iconic fixture of Southern fare in Savannah and forever included on our list of must-visits for guests of the Hostess City. While their food is consistently amazing, it is the level of hospitality and service exhibited by every staff member, from the servers to the managers, that truly makes the Olde Pink House a standout dining destination.
Every event we design and coordinate at the Olde Pink House leaves us continually impressed by their staff’s attention to detail and obvious love for their profession. We cannot say enough good things about them or thank them enough for their support. Please do yourselves a favor and check them out, whether for a bridal brunch, rehearsal dinner or reception. You truly will not be disappointed!

Whether you’re hosting a party for the “Big Game” {I think we all know what that means: the puppy bowl, obviously} this weekend or a friend’s bridal/baby shower or a major holiday in your newlywed home determining how much food and drink you need can be tricky. Leftovers are amazing, but you don’t want them taking up all of the precious real estate in your fridge for a week, and we can’t even imagine the horror of running out of food mid-event.
Enter: this nifty chart. Pin this one for later, y’all – you’ll need it at some point!

I am thrilled to share some images today from the oh-so-lovely Spring Island, SC nuptials of Amanda + Ryan. We adore uniquely secluded wedding venues and this 3,000-acre nature preserve is the epitome of that. This elegant, classically beautiful wedding truly showcases the best that the Lowcountry has to offer. Enjoy!

Weather is a fickle friend. Even if you’ve buried the bourbon, said your prayers, crossed your fingers & toes, there is no guarantee the heavens won’t open and pour buckets of good luck down on your perfect day.
Our beautiful Savannah temperatures, though notoriously warm in our busiest season {October through early November} have also been known to dip unexpectedly into unpleasant little cold snaps that can turn your outdoor soiree uncomfortable for you and your guests.
That’s why, if you’re considering an outdoor wedding ceremony or reception, we highly recommend leaving some extra money in your budget should you need to rent heaters or a tent. If the idea of a tent doesn’t appeal to you, or if your outdoor venue for some reason doesn’t allow one, seriously consider what you will do in the event of rain. Would you be able to move your ceremony indoors {if your already reserved} reception venue is indoors? Are you okay with walking down the aisle in a pair of wellies and carrying an umbrella?
If you don’t have a contingency plan, the thing you fear most is more likely to happen. Trust us: plan for inclement weather!
If you have any specific questions about your event, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via a comment here or a post on our Facebook page. We’d love to help!

For today’s edition of Friday Favorites, we have compiled some of the most creative and fun escort cards we’ve seen! It’s too fun when guests get to interact with their lovely hosts {our brides!} via a sweet little token or wearable gift.
We have scoured the interwebs to find some of the loveliest looks for a beach honeymoon around, all courtesy of Lolli Swim. Our resident fashionista Tristan says:
“I have no idea where I stumbled upon this bathing suit line but I’ve been obsessed with them since I did. Their suits are so fun and different. I love the pastel hues – it just screams beach – which, let’s be real, is exactly where I want to be right about now.”
Gorgeous, right?! I’m particularly enamored of the last one – a hot pink one-piece with strategically placed cutouts is so perfect! As always, don’t hesitate to leave your comments here or on our Facebook page. We’d love to hear from you!
